Designed as a total sensory immersion, this sanctuary combines the elegance of Italian design with the latest technological innovations, while paying a vibrant tribute to local traditions. Its name, which translates to “flowing tide” in Hawaiian, invites guests to enter a state of absolute fluidity through a water circuit and treatments deeply rooted in their terroir.

The interior architecture of the property pays homage to Maui’s dramatic landscapes, retracing water’s journey from volcanic peaks to the Pacific Ocean. At the centre of this experience, the complex features a comprehensive hydrothermal circuit where softly lit paths and cascading water create an atmosphere conducive to disconnecting. Guests navigate freely between a vitality pool, a therapeutic hot bath and an invigorating cold plunge to maximise the benefits of thermal contrast therapy.
To complete this regenerating journey, the space also includes a steam room, an experiential sensory shower as well as traditional and infrared saunas. Each area has been designed to encourage a seamless transition for body and mind, releasing deep muscular tension while stimulating overall circulation.

Beyond hydrotherapy, Kai Holo Spa incorporates a unique holistic approach based on light therapy and chromotherapy. The signature treatment, named Kai Holo Signature Oceanside Ritual, begins with a warm foot wrap featuring black sea salt, followed by a sugar and honey scrub harvested directly within the resort. This sensory journey continues with a kukui oil massage and concludes with a soothing scalp ritual, offering a complete reconnection with the elements.
Dedicated to the celebration of womanhood, the Piko Mālama Wahine ritual offers an enveloping experience ideal during times of personal transition. This treatment includes the application of warm herbal poultices (honey, lemon balm, chamomile and lavender), a fluid massage with kukui oil and an amla oil scalp treatment.
Marine detoxification and botanical secrets of the island
For lovers of purifying treatments, the Spirulina & Astaxanthin Ocean Detox Body Ritual draws its virtues from the mineral richness of the Pacific Ocean. This detoxification protocol begins with dry body brushing before the application of a warm seaweed and spirulina wrap cultivated in Hawaii. A lomi-lomi massage performed with astaxanthin-infused oil completes the experience, leaving the skin hydrated, radiant and deeply renewed.
Finally, the Queen’s Garden Fern Ritual takes direct inspiration from the property’s Queen’s Garden. This treatment uses indigenous fern oil from the neighbouring island of Kauai, combined with local botanicals. After a relaxing massage, a warm lava mud mask is applied along the spine and on the feet, before the body is wrapped in ti leaves to promote complete muscle relaxation. The property also announced that exclusive wellness retreat programmes will make their debut by the end of the year.
