In July 2026, the luxury hotel brand is inaugurating Six Senses AMAALA in Saudi Arabia, a well-being haven designed to offer a regenerative experience along the Red Sea. This ambitious project marks the brand’s second address in the Kingdom, consolidating its vision of high-end hospitality focused on sustainability and human reconnection.
Nestled in the preserved region of AMAALA, which extends over more than 4,100 square kilometres of spectacular coastal landscapes, the resort unfolds between fine sandy beaches, mangrove-fringed lagoons and desert cliffs. This opening marks a key milestone for the destination, combining the Saudi art de vivre with the most demanding well-being standards on the international stage.
Six Senses AMAALA integrates into the preserved coastline
An architecture integrated into the coastal landscape
Designed to foster moments of sharing and conviviality, the property integrates harmoniously into the site’s natural topography. This hotel village houses 100 suites and villas as well as 25 private residences, all inspired by the region’s traditional coastal architecture. The buildings, arranged to encourage gentle interactions and spontaneous discoveries, recall the rhythm and intimacy of Saudi villages of yesteryear.
The indoor and outdoor spaces have been designed to open onto the surrounding nature, whether contemplating coral reefs from private terraces or observing the starry desert sky. The experience is intended to be fluid, inviting guests to slow down and reclaim time in the heart of an environment of raw beauty.
A scientific and holistic approach to well-being
A holistic and regenerative well-being experience
Well-being is not limited to treatment areas, but infuses the entire guest journey. The Six Senses Spa AMAALA, designed as an oasis hidden in the hollow of protective cliffs, offers a complete sensory immersion thanks to freshwater waterfalls, indoor pools and lush vegetation. The massage cabins open onto private terraces offering soothing views of the lagoon.
Beyond traditional therapies, the property integrates a Longevity Centre equipped to provide preventive medicine and recovery protocols. The longevity centre offers cutting-edge technologies, such as cryotherapy and pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, complemented by a relaxing sound dome and an outdoor pool dedicated to Watsu. Reserved thermal areas, saunas, a salt room and daily yoga classes complete this comprehensive regeneration offering.
Healthy and innovative fine dining
The resort’s dining options reflect the “Eat With Six Senses” nutritional philosophy, prioritising local, fresh products prepared without additives. The property stands out for a pioneering, highly sophisticated non-alcoholic beverage programme, crafted from botanical infusions and probiotic tonics. The three main restaurants offer varied and theatrical culinary experiences.
Overlooking the cliff, the Soraya restaurant fuses the precision of Japanese cuisine and the intensity of Latin American flavours around the catch of the day. Joud offers Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine throughout the day, while the Beach Shack invites guests to casual lunches with their feet in the sand. A cookery school, named Nafas, as well as an artisanal bakery also allow guests to learn about local flavours.
A certified and demanding environmental approach
A pioneering commitment to sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of the resort’s design, which aims to achieve the prestigious LEED Platinum certification. The resort is committed to operating entirely on renewable energy, as part of an active preservation approach for marine biodiversity. The mangrove lagoon, an ecological asset of the site, is the subject of a conservation programme and serves as an educational tool for younger guests through the “Junior Mangrove Ecologist” programme.
The Earth Lab offers interactive workshops to raise residents’ awareness of the circular economy, from creating beeswax wraps to distilling essential oils. Ideally located, Six Senses AMAALA is accessible within a 45-minute drive from AlWajh International Airport, or 20 minutes by seaplane from the Red Sea International Airport (RSI).
