In brief

  • Louis Vuitton supports Les Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles, from 2nd July to 23rd September 2026.
  • The House is publishing a special edition of its City Guide dedicated to Arles, featuring 150 addresses.
  • A pop-up bookstore from Les Éditions Louis Vuitton is setting up shop at Le Buste et l’Oreille.

True to its history with imagery, Louis Vuitton once again accompanies Les Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles. For the 2026 edition, which runs from 2nd July to 23rd September, the House combines publishing and the art of living, offering both a travel guide dedicated to the Provençal city and a pop-up bookstore located in the heart of the town.

A Special Edition of the City Guide

Arles joins the City Guide collection with a selection of one hundred and fifty addresses to explore. Specially designed to celebrate the festival, this first seasonal edition of the guide places the city on par with Paris, New York, London, and Tokyo. Local native Christian Lacroix offers a personal tour of his hometown, sharing his favourite spots, from ancient heritage sites to the most discreet dining establishments.

A Pop-Up Bookstore in the Heart of Arles

Les Éditions Louis Vuitton are taking up residence at Le Buste et l’Oreille, a wine cellar and delicatessen in the city centre. For the duration of the festival, the space brings together the House’s major collections, from Fashion Eye to Travel Book, and will host meetings and signing sessions with authors, artists, and photographers. This intimate format extends the vibrancy of the Arlesian exhibitions into the bookstore.

Photography and the Art of Living

This event reaffirms the House’s enduring commitment to photography and its talents. By supporting one of Europe’s largest festivals dedicated to imagery, Louis Vuitton establishes its cultural engagement for the long term and forges a natural link between travel, publishing, and visual creation. Arles thus becomes, for a summer, an ideal playground for combining heritage with a contemporary perspective.

Between a collector’s guide and a pop-up bookstore, Louis Vuitton transforms its presence in Arles into a genuine journey, at the crossroads of books, photography, and the art of travel.
