The Foyer Rural de Ladoix is offering two evenings with very different worlds: a final performance of “Cuisine et Dépendances”, followed by an improvisation show with the Parisian troupe La Mèche. Two evenings, two atmospheres, but the same desire to bring theatre to life in Ladoix-Serrigny. The Foyer Rural de Ladoix continues its programming with two events on 16 and 17 October, at the Pierre Gourillon village hall. Les Quiproquos for a final “Cuisine et Dépendances” On Friday 16 October at 8:30 pm, the local troupe Les Quiproquos will return to the stage for a final performance of Cuisine et Dépendances, the famous play by Agnès Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri, directed by Matthieu Denis. Created four years ago, this troupe is composed of five young actors aged 18 to 22, all former members of the “MotsDits Juniors” in Ladoix. Now adults, they have chosen to continue the theatrical adventure together by founding their own company, still under the direction of Matthieu Denis. In this closed-door comedy, Martine and Jacques are particularly nervous: “he” has agreed to come to dinner at their home. Ten years ago, he was a friend. Now, he has become a celebrity. Enough to imagine an exceptional evening… except that nothing will really go as planned. Between a late arrival, reunions that awaken memories, bruised egos and some truths difficult to digest, the meal will quickly take an unexpected turn. The play plays on the unspoken, confessions and social satire, with that mixture of humour and tension in human relations that makes the success of Jaoui and Bacri’s writing. Saturday, time for improvisation with La Mèche. The following day, Saturday 17 October at 8:30 pm, a complete change of register with the hosting of the Parisian improvisation troupe La Mèche. Composed of six actors, professional and non-professional, aged 25 to 30, the troupe shares a common training followed for six years. Accustomed to the Parisian stage, the actors offer entirely improvised shows. Here, there is no pre-written text: the ideas come from the audience and serve as a starting point for the actors. Situations, characters and stories are thus built directly on stage, through their imagination and the suggestions of the spectators. An evening that promises its share of surprises, unexpected situations and laughter. Two evenings, one price. Both shows will take place at the Pierre Gourillon village hall in Ladoix-Serrigny.
