High-end retail is discovering a new way of being in the world in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Since September 2026, L’Appartement Corso has been transforming the customer experience within the luxury wing of the CAP3000 shopping centre. Spanning 220 m², this space, unique in France, borrows more from the codes of private hospitality than from traditional commerce. A lounge, kitchen, dressing room, dining room and bathroom make up this contemporary residence where guests benefit from bespoke support, participate in a beauty experience, record a podcast or organise a private dinner. This design reflects a profound shift in exceptional commerce: as the act of purchasing becomes digitalised, time, attention and the quality of the relationship reaffirm their status as true signs of distinction.
An inauguration with a Riviera scent
On 24 September 2026, L’Appartement Corso was officially inaugurated in an atmosphere matching its ambitions. Alongside Frédéric Llorca, director of CAP3000, and Pierre Ippolito, deputy mayor of Nice, numerous elected officials from the Côte d’Azur were in attendance. The evening brought together Joseph Ségura, mayor of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, and May Haoues, Miss Côte d’Azur 2026. On the gastronomic side, La Cabane de l’Écailler showcased its seafood products, while the sweet creations of chef Philippe Tayac perfected this social gathering. A staging that reveals the vocation of the venue, where commerce is extended by hospitality and sharing.
Hospitality as a new territory of luxury
With this initiative, CAP3000 takes a new step in the transformation of its hub dedicated to the high-end market. The challenge goes beyond the simple presence of prestigious brands to offer customers a more fluid and human experience. Frédéric Llorca highlights the current evolution of the sector: faced with increasingly complex purchasing journeys, visitors are looking for meaning and bespoke attention. Hospitality thus becomes the new field of innovation for the Corso, which ceases to be a simple shopping destination to become a setting where one takes the time to stay and be advised.
The codes of the private residence
The architectural approach marks a clear break with retail standards. Designed by LUCA Studio, a firm partnering with prestigious Maisons such as Diptyque, Céline or Louboutin, the space adopts the codes of a private apartment. Marthe Lelay, interior architecture project manager at Luca Consulting, prioritised fluid circulation, generous seating, bespoke furniture and sustainable materials. The soft lighting contributes to creating a serene atmosphere, designed to offer a warm and welcoming setting rather than a demonstrative decor.
Five spaces for bespoke uses
The concept unfolds across five rooms with well-defined functions. The lounge welcomes customers in a relaxed atmosphere while offering an immediate cash tax refund service. The kitchen becomes a gourmet theatre dedicated to culinary demonstrations by chefs and private tastings. The intimate dressing room is suitable for personal shopping and style advice. The modular dining room can host executive meetings and confidential dinners, while the bathroom serves as an ephemeral treatment cabin for major beauty brands.
Personalised stylistic advice
Among the flagship services of the venue, the personal shopping service relies on the exceptional potential of the shopping centre. Thanks to privileged access to the nearly 300 boutiques of CAP3000, experts accompany clients in creating silhouettes adapted to their needs. Whether it is designing a professional wardrobe, finding an evening outfit or organising regular accompaniment sessions, this bespoke care redefines the relationship between the brand and its visitors.
