A hidden Mediterranean garden on the Champs-Élysées

Invisible from the street, the CIRA terrace unfolds in the hotel’s inner courtyard, just steps away from the bustle of the world’s most beautiful avenue. Designed as a garden sanctuary bordered by greenery and bathed in natural light, the venue offers a subtle balance between Parisian sophistication and the casual elegance characteristic of the Côte d’Azur.

A sunny escape in the heart of Paris

The layout has been designed to make guests forget the urban pace and fully enjoy the beautiful summer days. Tables scattered across the leafy courtyard invite guests to linger over lunch and aperitifs until dusk. In this intimate setting, the establishment recreates the cosy and warm atmosphere of the grand residences of the Riviera.

A sunny cuisine driven by flame-cooking

In the kitchen, the menu celebrates the culinary traditions of the Mediterranean basin through an approach focused on the simplicity of seasonal produce. The common thread of the menu is flame-cooking, done directly on the terrace using charcoal and vine shoots. This preparation method brings a generous, smoky signature to both meats and fish.

Tapas and flavours to share

The experience begins with a selection of tapas to share: homemade tzatziki, za’atar hummus, smoked aubergine caviar, Iberian ham, and artisanal cheeses. Key starters include citrus tuna tartare, grilled watermelon with feta, vitello tonnato, and amberjack tiradito enhanced with bottarga. For mains, sea bream with fresh herbs, grilled octopus on Mediterranean risotto, prawns with fennel, and confit shoulder of lamb illustrate this passionate cuisine. Vibrant vegetarian creations and refreshing desserts, such as the pistachio-sour cherry tiramisu or chocolate mousse with olive oil, complete the offering.

Biodynamic pairings and speciality coffees at the bar

Cocktails and evening atmosphere

As daylight fades, the CIRA bar becomes the centre of attention on the terrace. The drinks offering is built around a partnership with maison Gérard Bertrand, a benchmark for organic and biodynamic wines from Languedoc-Roussillon. From the freshness of the rosés to the more complex profiles of the orange wines, each cuvée has been selected to complement the flavours on the menu. Signature wine-based cocktails, such as the Paloma Rosé, also reinterpret the great classics.

The experience continues with a brand-new focus on speciality coffee, developed with 1895 Coffee Designers by Lavazza. The head bartender highlights the Kafa Forest Cru, a rare variety from Ethiopia offering notes of citrus, bergamote, honey, and dates. This signature is also available as summer iced drinks, such as the Iced Lavender Coffee or the Iced Mediterranean Coffee flavoured with orgeat, to be enjoyed in the adjacent lounge area featuring low sofas and a flowering green wall.

Musical evenings and Sunday Mediterranean brunch

Sunday brunch and gourmet getaway

To set the rhythm for the capital’s nights, CIRA rolls out a weekly artistic programme. Every Thursday evening, acoustic performances and DJ sets accompany guests in a cosy and sunny atmosphere, ideal for extending evenings in the open air.

On Sundays, the establishment transforms its traditional gourmet gathering with a brunch with southern accents. Served from 12:30pm to 3pm, this buffet and table service combines cold plates (stracciatella with heirloom tomatoes, insalata di polpo, grilled halloumi) and comforting hot dishes like risotto verde or the grilled fish trilogy. A selection of sweet treats, including mango-passion fruit panna cotta and amaretti, rounds off this gourmet getaway.
